Varied Carpet Beetle Treatment in London

Varied Carpet Beetle Infestation Removal

Carpet Beetles are a common insect that affects residential and commercial properties in London and can be confused for a clothes moth, due to their habit of feeding on fabrics like carpets and upholstery.

Their larvae, sometimes known as ‘Woolly Bears’, will feed off natural fabrics in carpets and furniture and are attracted to dead animal hair. It takes between 1 and 3 years for a larvae to mature to full adult size, at which point it will be around two weeks before they start mating and increasing the size of the infestation.

You might notice them in your property by the presence of round holes in the seams of fabrics where they bite through and damage the thread.
