Box Tree Caterpillar Moth Pest Control

Professional Box Tree Caterpillar and Moth Treatment in London

Experts in Box Tree Caterpillar and Moth Infestation Removal

You’ll recognise Box Tree caterpillars from their bright green body, black head and black stripes. When feeding they will hide themselves in webbing to make it harder for predators to spot them. When fully matured Box Tree moths will vary in colour, usually brown or white with brown edges. You may notice clusters of yellow eggs beneath Box Tree leaves which indicates their presence.

The lifecycle of the caterpillar will repeat three times between the months of March and October during which they can destroy your plants by eating all of the leaves.

Getting rid of them involves using organic insecticide which is applied straight on to leaves, poisoning the caterpillar as it consumes them. Treatment involves coating the entire tree, which can take several hours and a minimum of 2 visits to ensure any caterpillars that survived the initial treatment can be dealt with.
